About The Position
The Staff Pad has partnered with a well-known healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA and we are seeking to hire a dependable EVS Floor Tech to join the medical care team. As an EVS Floor Tech, you'll play an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment. Your work directly supports exceptional patient care by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the facility, helping ensure the comfort and well-being of patients, visitors, and healthcare staff every day.
Requirements
- Previous environmental services or custodial experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas
- Clean, mop, buff, and wax floors using proper techniques
- Follow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment
- Dispose of waste according to hospital policies and environmental regulations
- Monitor and help maintain cleaning supply and equipment inventory
- Report maintenance needs and safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
