About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician Educator/Trainer serves as a subject matter expert in healthcare cleaning, including cleaning patient rooms, procedural areas, exam rooms, and hospital departments. The role uses department-specific cleaning techniques, tools, and processes in accordance with Community Memorial Healthcare quality standards and local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• One year of previous healthcare EVS experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write documents in English.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) related to chemical use and handling.
• Hold a Department of Transportation (DOT) certification or obtain it within six months.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in healthcare EVS training.
• Associate’s degree.
