About The Position

The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is seeking to hire a full-time or part-time EVS Attendant, Cleaners, Janitor, Custodian, Porter in the Tunica Mississippi area. TBC is a leader in providing support services to clients in the hospitality and gaming industries. Our environmental services (EVS) division provides contract-based janitorial services in hospitality and public areas of commercial spaces. This commercial cleaning job earns $11.00 and up/hour for Grave Shift, depending on experience. Requirements

21 years old or older
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform general janitorial tasks including bending, kneeling, reaching, and being on your feet for an entire shift
Customer service skills
Fast, efficient, self-motivated, and eager to do a good job
Positive, can-do attitude
Prefer to be on your feet moving around
Honest and respectful of people's privacy and property

Previous commercial cleaning or hospitality experience

Responsibilities

Arrive for your shift ready to get to work.
Work efficiently and be friendly and service-oriented in all interactions with guests and staff.
Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, pulling trash, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing supplies.
Ensure assigned restrooms and areas are always in compliance with company standards.
Conduct regular walkarounds.
Report maintenance repair problems to your supervisor.
Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged on a daily basis.
