About The Position

The EVS Attendant performs a variety of cleaning duties to maintain the facility, patient care areas, offices, lobbies, and bathrooms in a clean and orderly condition. The role cleans assigned patient care and common areas, as well as off-site facility locations, using the necessary cleaning chemicals and equipment. Duties also include removing trash, including hazardous and bio-hazardous waste; maintaining the housekeeping closet, cart, and cleaning equipment in orderly, good working condition; cleaning equipment and notifying a supervisor when equipment or other facility items need repair; delivering or retrieving equipment and furniture; and setting up and tearing down meeting rooms according to requirements. Work is performed in accordance with established quality standards. This is a full-time evening position at Fairfield Medical Center's FMC Main Campus in Lancaster, Ohio. Driving is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 20–50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10–25 pounds frequently, and negligible to 10 pounds often; physical demands exceed those for Medium Work.
• Driving is required.
