About The Position

The EVS Attendant maintains the cleanliness, quality, and appearance of assigned casino areas, including storage areas and equipment. The role uses cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly, follows department standards, and maintains restrooms, floors, steps, stairwells, and supply areas. The position also involves moving trash carts to a dumpster and working in varying environmental conditions, including outdoor smoking areas.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, proper cleaning techniques, and safety procedures, including MSDS and OSHA.
Must be able to move items horizontally weighing at least 25 pounds.
Must be able to work in an outdoor smoking area.
Must tolerate the presence and/or use of chemicals, cleansers, and solvents.

Responsibilities

Maintain the quality and appearance of assigned areas, including EVS storage areas and equipment.
Use daily cleaning chemicals safely and correctly and operate equipment according to department standards.
Use personal protective equipment, including glasses, gloves, and belts, as appropriate.
Attend OSHA and related safety training.
Clean and maintain assigned floors, restrooms, and other areas as instructed by supervisory staff.
Use vacuum cleaners, mops, brooms, sweepers, and dusters.
Keep restroom and supply areas fully stocked.
Clean steps and stairwells.
Operate advanced and commercial upright vacuum cleaners.
Move trash carts from work areas to the dumpster and unload them.
