Requirements

  • Must have a thorough knowledge of all-cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies
  • Maintain a working knowledge of basic office software and be adaptable to new technology
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Michigan Driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years environmental services supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct frequent inspections of all public areas and the Casino in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness; and complete inspection forms and reports as required
  • Assist the leadership team in administrative functions up to and including disciplinary actions, team member counseling, training, cross training and development of new supervisors
  • Assist in the completion of team member evaluations as outlined in Company policy.
  • Report facility problems and required preventive maintenance
  • Schedule the cleaning of public and casino areas and assign duties to ensure timely completion
  • Schedule team members to ensure all sections and areas are adequately covered
  • Assist in the training Environmental Services team members in OSHA standards and regulations; document and maintain the appropriate records
  • Take inventory of supplies and ensure necessary items are ordered
  • Ensure all equipment is working properly
  • Prepare necessary work orders and ensure equipment is repaired and returned in a timely manner
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
