About The Position

The Evis Labor team member may rotate between various Evis positions. This role involves ensuring birds are hung properly, inspecting and correcting missed or improperly opened and vented birds, and using a knife or other cutting instrument to remove any matter required before further processing, with close attention to detail. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Back up the auto transfer or re-hang machine by placing a bird in any empty shackle, ensuring birds are hung properly.
• Inspect and correct missed and improperly opened and vented birds.
• Use knife or other cutting instrument to remove any matter required to be removed before the bird enters further processing, using close attention to detail.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
