About The Position
Bogus Basin is a four-season mountain recreation area located just 16 miles from Boise, Idaho. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Bogus Basin is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable outdoor recreation, education, and community programming year-round. The Events Staff position supports a variety of on-mountain catering events throughout the season, playing a key role in delivering memorable guest experiences by helping execute events from start to finish. The role ensures each event runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedule
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) and stay active for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Previous event, hospitality, or service experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup including tables, chairs, décor, signage, and equipment
- Prepare event spaces according to event specifications and timelines
- Support basic event prep tasks as assigned
- Assist with running events, including guest interaction and support
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Support event leads and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with teardown of all event equipment and materials
- Clean and restore event spaces to standard conditions
- Ensure proper storage of supplies and equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures and report any issues
- Perform additional related duties as needed
