About The Position

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of special events for the City of Buckeye. The Events Specialist will manage all aspects of event coordination, from initial concept development to post-event analysis, ensuring successful and engaging experiences for attendees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with event management software.
  • Knowledge of local event venues and resources.
  • Experience in a municipal or government setting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute special events for the City of Buckeye.
