About The Position

Events are a primary growth driver for Flip across the retail, healthcare, and transportation industries. This role will be responsible for Flip's end-to-end event presence, encompassing major trade shows, conferences, client experiences (Flippin' Legends), brand activations, and internal company events. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in the B2B trade show world, excels at planning and execution, and maintains high standards for themselves and others. While creative and content teams generate ideas, this role focuses on executing them flawlessly, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing B2B trade shows and industry conferences with end-to-end ownership of logistics, sponsorships, and on-site execution.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in budget ownership and ROI analysis, including building and managing event budgets, negotiating with vendors and organizers, and using performance data to inform strategy.
  • Strong on-site leadership skills, comfortable directing teams and vendors in fast-paced environments and holding partners accountable.
  • Ability to translate creative and content team ideas into flawless execution.
  • Relentless attention to detail, with a proactive approach to managing and closing out all open items.
  • Adaptability and calmness under pressure; ability to manage chaos and bring order to complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and manage Flip's presence at key trade shows and conferences across retail, healthcare, and transportation industries.
  • Negotiate sponsorships and booth packages, manage all logistics, and ensure impactful event execution.
  • Develop detailed pre-event plans and timelines, coordinating with sales, marketing, and leadership on goals and messaging.
  • Manage all vendor relationships, contracts, and deadlines.
  • Own and manage event budgets from estimation to reconciliation, tracking and reporting on ROI (leads generated, pipeline influenced, brand impressions, follow-up conversion).
  • Lead on-site event execution, including setup, staffing, scheduling, and real-time problem-solving.
  • Oversee post-event activities such as team debriefs, results reporting, lead follow-up coordination, and documentation of learnings.
  • Partner with creative and content teams to bring brand activations to life, source event merchandise, and coordinate capture of photo, video, and client interviews.
  • Plan and coordinate internal events, including company meetings, offsites, and client dinners.
