This role is based in our Newton, MA office. Building on the success of the recent merger launching industry powerhouse Informa TechTarget, we’re hiring to supercharge our global event marketing capabilities within our Corporate Marketing organization. The Events Marketing Director drives the strategy, planning and execution of our event marketing initiatives to generate demand, engage prospects and customers through creative activations, and build awareness of our brand. These include industry events, hosted customer & prospect events, and partner event activations. This role requires coordination across various sales and marketing teams to prioritize, plan and communicate event strategy and planning initiatives. The position reports to the VP of Corporate Communications. The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, a project management mindset and a collaborative, and results-oriented approach to lead or support creation of innovative experiences that engage prospects and customers and elevate Informa TechTarget’s brand presence. The ideal candidate has experience working collaboratively with sales organizations, business owners and across multiple internal teams, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to change while managing multiple events and stakeholders. They are someone who can deliver marketing and execution seamlessly and understands how to plan and implement strategies that drive measurable results and align with business goals.
