About The Position

Vinci is seeking its first Events Manager to build and lead the company's event program. This role is crucial for making Vinci's innovative AI-native computational platform tangible to the engineering and executive communities. The Events Manager will be responsible for creating impactful event experiences at industry conferences, technical sessions, executive briefings, and customer events. This is not a traditional event-planning role; it requires a strategic thinker who can invent unique experiences that make Vinci impossible to ignore. The role involves close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to shape event strategy and execution, ensuring that events contribute to measurable commercial outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a builder, comfortable with technical audiences, and capable of managing complex projects with high standards for execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of event marketing experience, including hands-on ownership of a multi-event annual calendar and meaningful event budgets.
  • Direct experience with B2B technology, enterprise, or technical events.
  • A track record of building events that contributed to measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong judgment about where to invest and the ability to evaluate opportunities and compare tradeoffs.
  • Exceptional project-management ability across many simultaneous workstreams, fixed external deadlines, and dependencies.
  • Enough technical fluency to work credibly with engineers, product leaders, and technical content.
  • Experience incorporating live product demonstrations into event environments, or a strong instinct for how to make complex technology tangible.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing-automation systems for event workflows and measurement.
  • A builder's mindset, enjoying the creation of systems, processes, templates, and standards.
  • Excellent cross-functional instincts, with the ability to communicate proactively and move work through various teams.
  • Composure under pressure and an unusually high standard for execution.
  • Comfort operating in a high-growth company where priorities move quickly and the playbook is still being written.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor, EDA, electronics, hardware, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, or other deep-technology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with events such as DAC, IMEC, SEMICON, ECTC, and similar industry conferences is a significant advantage.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run Vinci's event portfolio, developing the annual strategy across major industry conferences, technical symposia, customer programs, executive events, field experiences, and webinars.
  • Create event experiences that translate Vinci's positioning and technical differentiation into physical experiences, owning booth and space design, live demo environments, collateral, programming, and staffing.
  • Own sponsorship strategy and event economics, evaluating packages, building cost-and-value comparisons, negotiating terms, managing vendors, and tracking spend.
  • Run the speaking and technical-program pipeline, tracking opportunities, managing submissions, and coordinating content development and preparation for executives and technical leaders.
  • Build a high-performing webinar and digital-event motion in partnership with Product Marketing and the Campaigns Manager.
  • Turn events into commercial momentum by partnering with Sales on target-account strategy, outreach, meetings, lead capture, and post-event follow-up.
  • Build the operating system behind the program, creating workback plans, run-of-show standards, budget models, vendor bench, asset and shipping processes, templates, and post-event debriefs.
  • Act as the center of gravity during major events, managing deadlines, stakeholders, and unforeseen variables.
