Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, field marketing, or a related role, ideally within a high-growth technology company.

  • Experience owning both external/customer-facing events and internal company events.
  • Proven ability to independently take complex events from an idea through execution.
  • Strong operator with a bias toward action and a track record of creating structure from ambiguity.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing meaningful event budgets and negotiating with vendors.
  • Strong judgment and ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with executives and cross-functional leaders.
  • Comfortable being both strategic and highly tactical.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the Events Function, establishing repeatable standards and processes for planning, budgeting, approvals, vendors, logistics, communications, onsite execution, and post-event measurement.
  • Develop the annual events calendar and framework for event selection (attend, sponsor, host, or skip).
  • Create scalable templates, checklists, timelines, vendor databases, budgets, and operating processes.
  • Establish clear success metrics and conduct post-event retrospectives for continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify gaps, solve problems, and build necessary infrastructure.
  • Manage Higgsfield’s presence at external events including industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, executive dinners, activations, and partner events.
  • Develop event experiences that reflect Higgsfield’s brand and positioning.
  • Manage end-to-end event production, including venues, vendors, catering, AV, signage, branding, guest lists, travel, staffing, and onsite execution.
  • Partner with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing to connect events to business objectives like pipeline generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Coordinate executive participation, speaking engagements, VIP experiences, and customer meetings.
  • Measure event attendance, engagement, leads, pipeline influence, and overall ROI.
  • Plan and execute internal events such as company offsites, leadership gatherings, team events, and celebrations.
  • Partner with People and leadership to build events that strengthen connection and culture.
  • Manage logistics for events involving employees traveling across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Build repeatable formats and processes for internal events to scale with the company.
  • Own event budgets, forecasts, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Negotiate with venues, agencies, production partners, and other vendors.
  • Manage multiple events and workstreams simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Be willing to travel and work outside traditional hours when required for events.
  • Be comfortable with both strategic planning and tactical execution, including troubleshooting onsite issues.
