About The Position

Performs set up and tear down of all equipment for events and assist in the maintenance, repair, and operating needs of the MetraPark facility. Operates and maintains heavy, medium and light equipment such as forklifts, trucks, front-end loaders, and bucket trucks. Assists in cleaning of the entire complex inside and outside, including buildings, facilities, and restrooms. Assists in all set-ups and teardowns as required by events. Assists in cleaning and other work required in outside areas in all types of weather. Assists in building repair and equipment repair and related work. Performs building and mechanical maintenance, welding, carpentry, painting, masonry, and landscaping tasks. Constructs and dismantles stages, barricades, rodeo arenas, and sports facilities and equipment.

Requirements

• Graduation from a High School or G.E.D.
• Two (2) years' experience in construction trade work, building maintenance, and/or arena/large venue event setup and tear down
• Must pass a criminal and driving background check
• Meet any County-specific employment eligibility standards
• Valid driver's license issued by the State of Montana
