About The Position

International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking an Events Intern for the Spring 2027 Internship class. The intern will support and assist the Employee Experience and Events team with various projects, primarily focused on the execution of a significant supporter event in Washington, DC in May 2027. Other potential projects include reviewing and adapting travel best practices for IJM staff, assisting with administrative coordination of Arlington Office Operations, and vendor research. This position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) and is located in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. The internship program dates are January 11 – May 7, 2027.

Requirements

Completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of their internship.
At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations.
Ability to commit to a schedule consistent with the required time commitment (40 hours per week during standard business hours).
Event management experience.
