Events & Campaign Activation Manager

NetBrainBurlington, MA
$110,000 - $140,000Hybrid

About The Position

NetBrain is seeking an Events & Campaign Activation Manager to lead its tradeshow and sponsored event program. This role encompasses event selection, logistics, on-site activation, and post-event follow-through, as well as event promotion through registration emails, pre-event nurture sequences, and social programs to drive attendance and prepare buyers for meaningful in-person conversations. The position is hybrid and based out of the Burlington, MA headquarters. The role works closely with the Director, Integrated Campaigns, the VP, Integrated Marketing (direct manager), Sales, and BDR teams, with the goal of ensuring each event contributes its share to the pipeline target as part of a larger integrated campaign.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or tradeshow execution in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record executing tradeshows and sponsored events that generate pipeline — not just attendance.
  • Excellent project management skills: you track details, flag risks early, and keep multiple concurrent events on plan.
  • Experience building event promotion programs — email, social, pre-event nurture — and measuring their impact on attendance and engagement.
  • Direct experience working with BDR and Sales teams on event follow-up and lead handoff.
  • Strong vendor management skills — you negotiate, hold vendors accountable, and protect budget.
  • Comfortable in a cross-functional environment where your lane connects to a larger campaign plan you did not build.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) and CRM (Salesforce preferred).
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ABM platforms and event tech tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead event selection, logistics, and contracting for all tradeshows and sponsored events, bringing a recommendation of priorities to marketing leadership.
  • Translate campaign briefs into event activation plans — venue logistics, booth experience, staffing, and on-site programming — that deliver measurable pipeline contribution.
  • Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts, tracking spend in real time and flagging variances early.
  • Coordinate staffing plans with Sales and BDR leadership, ensuring on-site staff know their role and are set up to be effective.
  • Design on-site programming — demos, meetings, ancillary events, speaking opportunities — that drives engagement beyond the booth.
  • Execute post-event follow-through: lead capture, BDR handoff, follow-up sequence alignment, and pipeline tracking against event investment.
  • Build and execute promotional programs driving attendance to every event NetBrain participates in: registration emails, pre-event nurture, and social promotion.
  • Align event promotion with campaign brief — messaging pillars, target audience, and creative theme.
  • Schedule event promotion in the content calendar ahead of each activation, not reactively.
  • Track registration, attendance, and engagement metrics to improve promotion effectiveness over time.
  • Define event-level pipeline targets at the planning stage.
  • Track pipeline influenced and generated from each event and report findings.
  • Conduct a written post-event debrief: what the event delivered, what drove or dragged performance, and what changes for the next event.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate event planning, vendor research, promotional content development, and reporting.
  • Bring ideas for improving event ROI through better audience targeting, on-site programming, and post-event follow-through.
