About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Bartender to join our Events Team at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center. This part-time seasonal position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoys being part of unforgettable weddings, galas, corporate functions, and celebrations. While bartending will be your main responsibility, this role may also include light serving or event support duties as needed. Flexibility is essential to ensuring every event runs smoothly and our guests have an exceptional experience. Requirements

Current Maine ServSafe Alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) preferred
Previous bartending experience in an event, banquet, or hospitality setting preferred
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time
Knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktail preparation
Excellent multitasking and customer service skills
Team-player mindset and a positive, flexible attitude
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule

Responsibilities

Set up and operate portable bars for weddings, banquets, and private events
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with Maine liquor laws
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the event
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
Work collaboratively with the Events Team to support overall event success
Assist with event setup, breakdown, and occasional food service as needed
Follow event timelines and communicate effectively with team leads
