The Events Marketing Manager owns Phocas’ global events program — spanning trade shows, executive dinners, account-based activations, field events, and industry conferences. This role blends creativity with operational excellence, designing memorable experiences that drive engagement while ensuring flawless execution. Events are a key component of Phocas’ demand generation engine — not just as brand moments, but as pipeline-driving investments. Success in this role requires aligning event strategy with GTM priorities, ensuring every activation contributes to revenue outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and RevOps — ensuring events are well-targeted, well-executed, and fully integrated into the broader demand engine.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and scaling events programs in a SaaS or B2B environment
  • Strong balance of creative thinking and operational execution
  • Experience driving pipeline through events across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments
  • Deep understanding of event marketing within a broader demand generation strategy (ABM, lifecycle, digital)
  • Strong grasp of attribution, campaign tracking, and marketing automation best practices
  • Excellent project management and vendor management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capability
  • High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Data-driven mindset with focus on ROI and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual events calendar, including selection and planning of global in-person events
  • Execute end-to-end event logistics including vendor negotiations, venue selection, booth design, travel coordination, and inventory management
  • Design and deliver creative in-booth and onsite experiences that attract and engage qualified prospects
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to drive pre-event outreach and meeting generation (email, social, ABM tactics)
  • Collaborate with RevOps to ensure seamless lead capture and data flow into CRM and marketing systems
  • Secure speaking opportunities, testimonials, and partner activations to elevate event presence
  • Manage onsite execution including booth setup, staffing coordination, and real-time issue resolution
  • Own event budget management including spend tracking, invoicing, and vendor optimization
  • Manage agency and contractor support to scale event execution effectively
  • Align cross-functional teams on event goals, target accounts, and post-event follow-up strategy
