We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting for Veterans and their families to join our team. This role involves coordinating fundraising events and communications for a Veterans service organization in Bridgeport, CT. This position reports to the CEO/Executive Director and works closely with the Board of Directors. It is a salaried full-time position exempt from overtime pay. This position requires flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as events dictate, and longer hours may be required during events and event prep times. About the agency: Applied Behavioral Rehabilitation Institute, Inc./Homes for the Brave is a 501(c)(3) organization in Bridgeport. ABRI's mission is to provide the housing and services necessary to help homeless individuals, primarily Veterans, return to a productive and meaningful life. The organization currently operates programs that provide transitional and permanent supportive housing, vocational training and placement, clinical treatment (mental health and substance use), all serving primarily Veterans, and a drop-in Service Center for Veterans and their families who are in housing crisis or who need support.
