About The Position

Shootday is seeking talented event videographers located in or able to commute to Denver for paid freelance assignments. The role involves capturing memorable moments at a variety of events and delivering high-quality raw video footage; Shootday handles the editing and project operations. Assignments may include corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings, and are paid per assignment. Videographers choose which assignments to accept based on their availability and use and maintain their own professional gear. Shootday offers project and client support, opportunities through its global network, and priority booking for consistently high-performing partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in different environments and event types.
• Reliable transportation to event locations.
• Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
• Ability to work well with others when needed.
• A videography degree or equivalent experience.
• Located in or able to commute to Denver.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Own and maintain videography gear, such as gimbals and high-quality microphones.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality RAW video footage on time.
• Cover diverse events, including corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings.
• Capture key moments, candid shots, and the atmosphere of each event.
• Adapt videography approach to each event’s specific needs.
• Collaborate with other videographers when needed.
• Use professional camera gear, including cameras, lenses, gimbals, and high-quality microphones.
• Guide participants and set up shots for the best results.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the Shootday team.
