Event Travel Specialist
About The Position
If you’re interested in events, travel, and working behind the scenes to bring large-scale experiences to life, this could be a great starting point. As an Event Travel Specialist, you’ll support the planning and execution of air travel for group events, meetings, and incentive programs. You’ll work closely with experienced team members to coordinate flights, assist travelers, and help ensure everything runs smoothly from planning through event completion. This is a hands-on, fast-paced, and highly collaborative role where you’ll learn the ins and outs of group travel, airline logistics, and event operations.
Requirements
- Recently graduated (or have a background) in Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Business or related field
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Enjoy working with people and solving problems
- Comfortable communicating clearly via email and Teams
- Like working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems
- Strong sense of accountability and follow-through
Nice To Haves
- Internship or part-time experience in events, travel, or hospitality
- Customer service experience
- Interest in airlines, travel logistics, or global events
Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of air travel for event attendees and internal teams
- Research and share flight options, pricing, and schedules
- Assist with booking and ticketing flights
- Communicate with participants via email to share itineraries, answer travel questions, and help with changes or requests
- Track and help manage program budgets and travel details
- Partner with internal teams like Event Managers, Travel Directors, and Accounting teams
- Help resolve travel issues (delays, changes, cancellations) with guidance from senior team members
- Learn how to navigate airline systems and internal tools
- Assist with after-hours flight monitoring on a rotating basis
