This role involves leading and inspiring an Event Technology team to deliver flawless AV, lighting, and conferencing experiences. The manager will oversee department operations, ensuring top-notch guest experiences and maintaining health, safety, and cleanliness standards. Collaboration with Sales and other departments is key to delivering seamless event technology solutions on time and within budget. Financial management includes controlling labor, equipment, and supply costs, while also driving revenue through smart tech initiatives. The role requires troubleshooting and executing AV and event technology setups, supporting guests with expert guidance, and coordinating vendor contracts and shipments.
Requirements
- 3+ years in AV or event technology
- Leadership experience
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Suite, operating systems, and work management tools to keep things efficient.
- Physically able and flexible: Events happen anytime—weekends, nights, holidays—and lifting up to 50lbs is part of the gig.

- Hospitality background preferred: Knowing the rhythm of guest service helps create memorable event experiences.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with Sales and other departments to deliver seamless event technology solutions on time and within budget.
- Manage financial performance by controlling labor, equipment, and supply costs—and driving revenue through smart tech initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and execute all AV and event technology setups, supporting guests with expert guidance on equipment use.
- Coordinate vendor contracts and manage incoming/outgoing shipments to ensure smooth event execution.
