About The Position

The Event Technology Manager will lead and inspire their Event Technology team to deliver flawless AV, lighting, and conferencing experiences. This role involves overseeing department operations to ensure top-notch guest experiences, collaborating with Sales and other departments for seamless event technology solutions, and managing financial performance by controlling costs and driving revenue. The manager will also be responsible for troubleshooting and executing AV setups, supporting guests with equipment use, and coordinating vendor contracts and shipments.

Requirements

3+ years in AV or event technology.
Leadership experience.
Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Suite, operating systems, and work management tools.
Physically able and flexible to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Hospitality background preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee department operations ensuring top-notch guest experiences and maintaining health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Collaborate with Sales and other departments to deliver seamless event technology solutions on time and within budget.
Manage financial performance by controlling labor, equipment, and supply costs.
Drive revenue through smart tech initiatives.
Troubleshoot and execute all AV and event technology setups.
Support guests with expert guidance on equipment use.
Coordinate vendor contracts and manage incoming/outgoing shipments.
