About The Position

The Senior Event Support Technician is responsible for the technical operation, support, and maintenance of an executive conference center and other high-profile collaboration spaces. This role serves as the highest level of onsite AV support, providing white-glove service for executive meetings, client presentations, hybrid events, and live productions while ensuring mission-critical spaces remain operational and production-ready. The technician acts as the primary technical lead for complex AV systems, partnering with AV Engineering, Workplace, IT, and Event teams to deliver flawless meeting and event experiences.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional AV experience supporting enterprise conference centers, executive environments, or live production spaces.
  • Strong experience with Zoom Rooms, Q-SYS, Dante, NDI, digital audio consoles, video switchers, PTZ camera systems, IPTV, and enterprise AV networking.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across AV hardware, control systems, networking, and signal distribution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support executive leadership and high-profile events in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 3 technical support for executive meetings, client events, town halls, and hybrid productions.
  • Operate and support production-grade AV systems including audio mixers, video switchers, PTZ cameras, Q-SYS DSP/control, Dante audio, NDI, IPTV, and AV-over-IP systems.
  • Own the daily operation, readiness, and preventative maintenance of the executive conference center, including standard conference rooms, boardrooms, divisible meeting spaces, and multi-purpose event spaces.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of AV, networking, control systems, audio, and video signal flow; serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues.
  • Conduct pre-event testing, technical rehearsals, onsite event support, and post-event system validation.
  • Coordinate with AV Engineering, Workplace, IT, Networking, vendors, and event stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
  • Maintain system documentation, firmware, inventory, and operational standards while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support commissioning of new AV systems, technology evaluations, and deployment of enterprise AV standards.
