About The Position

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring Event Staff for its Event Parking Team at the University of Arkansas. The role supports event-day preparation and execution at venues, helping guests enter, find their way around, and enjoy their experience. Duties include collecting or scanning tickets, checking wristbands and badges, directing traffic, and providing friendly guest assistance. Team members also help maintain designated areas’ cleanliness and operational efficiency. No experience is required; training is provided. The advertised starting pay is $15.15 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• May be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
• Must be professional and articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into venues by collecting or scanning tickets and verifying wristbands and badges.
• Direct traffic entering and leaving the venue.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner and thank them at the end of interactions.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Direct foot traffic and help ensure designated areas remain clean, operationally efficient, and maintained.
• Work overtime as needed.
