Event Stadium Cleaner
About The Position
ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, replenish supplies, and upkeep an assigned area within an arena, sports stadium, convention center, or other entertainment venue. Assigned areas may include restrooms, suites, and concourses. The Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete assigned tasks, which may include cleaning guest common areas, restrooms, and private or VIP suites; emptying trash receptacles; cleaning bodily fluids; and assisting guests with directions within the complex. The role is event-based and part-time, with work on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends on a schedule that is not set. No experience or diploma is required, and on-the-job training is provided. ABM describes the position as suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience.
- One year of similar work experience.
Responsibilities
- Notify the Manager about the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
- Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, manually or with hand trucks.
- Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Maintain cleanliness, replenish supplies, and upkeep the assigned venue area.
- Clean guest common areas, restrooms, and private or VIP suites; empty trash receptacles; and clean bodily fluids.
- Assist guests with directions within the complex.
