About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated, results-driven, and detail-oriented Events Specialist to support the planning, executing, and optimizing marketing events across the Americas region. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional to grow their experience in B2B event marketing while contributing to high-impact initiatives that increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. In this role, you’ll collaborate with regional marketing and sales teams, coordinate logistics, and support the execution of both in-person, such as trade shows, workshops, Milestone owned events, internal events and customer roundtables. You’ll also assist in managing event logistics, inventory of our booth properties, and Milestone’s swag store, as well as event communications, promotions, and post-event follow-up processes. This position offers exposure to the full event lifecycle and a chance to learn marketing automation and CRM platforms in a supportive and fast-paced environment. This position will join our Regional Marketing Americas team and will report to our Head of Regional Marketing Americas and work closely with our Senior Events Manager. The Events Specialist role is a hybrid role based in the Americas Headquarters in beautiful Lake Oswego, Oregon. Relocation assistance is not provided. Travel required – 15%

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in event marketing, marketing coordination, or related field (internships count!)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms is a plus (e.g., Salesforce, MCE).
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and coordinating 40+ tier 2 marketing events, including trade shows, meetups, owned events, and partner events across the Americas region.
  • Work with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics and setup.
  • Conduct pre/post event meetings with key stakeholders and attendees to align goals and optimize follow-ups.
  • Support on-site event operations as needed, including registration, setup, and attendee engagement.
  • Help create and update event project plans, timelines, and task lists, manage and monitor event request form submissions, and event activity tracker.
  • Support Event Manager on budget management – ensuring events under this role’s direct ownership are managed to budget with carefully planned and tracked expenses and resource allocation.
  • Document event goals, objectives, and promotional plans
  • Support digital promotion for tier 1 events including email invites, landing pages, surveys, and social media support.
  • Support global digital marketing in lead list clean up and lead list loading into CRM post event to ensure speedy follow up and optimized results
  • Work closely with global digital marketing to monitor and report on results from event marketing efforts, recommend opportunities for improvement, and evaluate future participation.
  • Ensure events adhere to brand guidelines and deliver consistent customer experience.
  • Manage the company’s swag store, including ordering, inventory tracking, fulfillment coordination, and budget monitoring.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align swag offerings with brand initiatives and event needs.
  • Support the use of marketing tools such as event platforms, lead capture systems, marketing automation (e.g., Salesforce, MCE – Marketing Cloud Engagement, Captello).
  • Utilize project management solutions (Monday.com) to help ensure deadlines are adhered to and to track project status
  • Leverage Power BI and SFDC reports to monitor and report on event metrics and outcomes.
