About The Position

Watermill Express is seeking an outgoing, organized Event Specialist to manage and personally staff our promotional events. You will be the face of the company, engaging with customers within our network of 19 markets in 8 states. This role involves frequent travel, especially on weekends. This is a salaried exempt position starting at $55,000.

Requirements

• Public speaking or field marketing experience
• Experience hauling and loading trailers or similar equipment
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and generate creative ideas to engage customers
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via email
• Team player with a positive, customer-focused attitude
• Comfortable working outdoors in any condition and standing on your feet most of the day
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of event marketing experience

Responsibilities

• Load and transport marketing materials (bottles, tents, tables, banners, etc.) for each promotion
• Set up and break down event sites
• Engage with customers to clearly explain who we are and what we offer
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide Q&A with customers
• Complete post-event reporting and provide feedback to the Design & Promotions Manager
• Assist with community outreach programs as needed
• Significant travel throughout Texas and surrounding markets, including out of state travel, approximately 35-40 weekends per year
• Follow safety guidelines and act in a safe manner.
• All other duties assigned.
