A fantastic opportunity to learn the Event industry from the ground up! This role involves setting up for events, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decor. It also includes setting up bars, serving guests with sincere, motivated, warm, and professional service, and cleaning up after events. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory of china, glassware, flatware, and other event items, keeping storage areas clean and accessible, and maintaining an up-to-date inventory count. The ideal candidate is a make-it-happen, positive, hands-on, go-getter who enjoys serving others and working with a small team. Responsibilities include attending scheduled meetings, understanding assigned tasks, checking out daily with a supervisor, and potentially working beyond scheduled shift times to complete tasks. Upkeep of the venue and property is essential, including returning inventory to its correct location, picking up trash, cleaning messes, and reporting any major issues. Cleaning dishes and glassware in the Dish Pit is also part of the role. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs, be physically able to work hard while looking and acting professional, and climb a ladder. Dependability, loyalty, and a drive for growth opportunities are valued. The role requires working nights and weekends, with a schedule that rotates based on the event calendar, potentially involving longer shifts and fewer days in a particular week. The company is a rapidly growing organization in a demanding industry, and all employees are expected to help across all aspects of the company.
