About The Position

Set up and maintain public and private events according to written and verbal instructions. This role involves reviewing set-up plans, executing instructions based on customer needs, managing work within event timelines, and performing custodial responsibilities to ensure a clean and organized environment. The technician will also operate lifting and carrying equipment safely and organize tools and materials.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent is required
Appropriate certification(s) to operate the following equipment: scissor lift, skid steer, forklift, and tractor
A valid Class C Texas driver’s license is required
Must have experience operating equipment to lift and carry materials
Demonstrated capability to adapt to varying work schedules based on event requirements, showcasing flexibility and commitment to delivering exceptional service
Ability to read and follow instructions while exhibiting necessary critical thinking skills to make productive decisions during work performance
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work with people in a public setting while providing hospitality services for the client’s event
Must be courteous and demonstrate strong business ethics at all times

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with audio mixing and visual projecting equipment is not required, but a plus

Responsibilities

Manages work within event timelines, and makes necessary preparations in advance for future events.
Executes comprehensive custodial responsibilities prior to, during, and post events to ensure a clean and organized environment for seamless event execution.
Operates lifting and carrying equipment safely around the public.
Organizes tools, equipment, event materials, and keeps work areas clean.
Other duties as required.
