About The Position

The USS Midway Museum, San Diego's top-rated attraction and the most visited aircraft carrier museum, is seeking an Event Setup Rep (On Call). This position provides the general labor necessary for the set up and tear down of equipment for special events. The ideal candidate is upbeat, positive, reliable, and has a passion for people, looking for a job in a unique and fun environment.

Requirements

  • Reliable and dependable: ability to report to work on time as scheduled.
  • Demonstrate excellent guest services skills.
  • A team player. Must work well with others.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, dust, and wipe rental equipment furniture
  • Load/unload event gear and equipment with lift equipment
  • Physically set up and tear down event equipment i.e. tables, chairs, stanchions, flooring, umbrellas, etc.
  • Assemble furniture and space accessories, i.e. shelving, cabinets, etc.
