We are seeking professional, reliable, and energetic Event Servers/Bartenders to join our catering team. This is an on-call position , with shifts scheduled based on event needs and availability. In this dual role, you will provide exceptional food and beverage service while ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for guests. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong hospitality skills, and is comfortable both serving and/or bartending.

Requirements

  • Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, and wine
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays
  • Must meet legal requirements for serving alcohol
  • Capability to maintain a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, ability to repeatedly lift up to 25lbs
  • DOH Food Handler’s certificate preferred
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule daytime Monday – Friday and occasionally including nights, weekends, or holidays

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, linens, service stations, and bar areas
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and event specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service and bar areas throughout events
  • Provide attentive, friendly, and professional guest service
  • Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and clearing
  • Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth execution
  • Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly
