About The Position

Securitas is hiring Security Officers, including Armed Security Officers and Event Officers. Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to help protect client property and personnel. Event Officers must cover assigned events and shifts as needed. The posting lists a wage of $16–$17 per hour for the Event Security Officer and a broader pay range of $17 per hour for unarmed positions to $20 per hour for armed positions. Requirements

At least 1 year of security experience.
Must be able to cover assigned events and shifts as needed.
Must be available to work weekends and have a flexible schedule.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass a lifetime background check and drug test.
Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, and a professional manner.
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Professional appearance is required; visible body-piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted unless authorized.
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk frequently, potentially for long periods, and may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
May need to lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
