About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining safety and order during events. The Event Security Officer provides service and safety to guests in non-gaming locations and offers point of entry support for various venues across the property. They greet and guide guests, protect patrons and employees, patrol for illegal and unusual situations, and safeguard company assets. Additionally, they check IDs for underage patrons and execute principles of SMART for detecting false identification. This role also involves working closely with department supervisors and managers to assist with daily activities, maintaining the safety and security of patrons, performers, and tour personnel throughout the property, and communicating clearly and professionally via verbal, written, and radio communications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English
• Previous customer service experience or experience dealing with the public
• Good communication skills
• Ability to respond to emergencies in an expedited manner
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in pressure situations
• Knowledge of department policies and procedures
• Knowledge of the property and its offerings
• Knowledge of the arena’s emergency evacuation plan
• Knowledge of the arena’s post duties
