About The Position
KRE Security, LLC is hiring dependable, energetic, and professional Event Security Guards for a September fair in Port Royal, PA. You'll be part of the team helping keep guests, vendors, entertainers, and event staff safe while enjoying the energy of a busy community event. If you like working with people, staying active, and don't mind a fast-paced environment, this could be a great seasonal opportunity for you. This is more than just a September job; doing a great job at the fair may lead to more opportunities with KRE Security, which works events and provides security services throughout Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- Dependable and punctual
- Professional and comfortable working with the public
- Comfortable working around large crowds
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Calm and professional in a busy environment
- Available for September event shifts
- Able to reliably travel to Port Royal, PA
- Successfully complete required pre-employment screening and applicable onboarding requirements
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, customer service, hospitality, or event work is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow
- Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted locations
- Help enforce event policies and safety procedures
- Provide directions and assistance to guests
- Identify and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Follow instructions from KRE supervisors and event management
