About The Position

The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel is seeking an Event Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by securing weddings, social events, and group business. This role involves showcasing the hotel's venues, culinary experiences, and service to help clients achieve their vision. The ideal candidate will love building relationships, closing deals, and creating unforgettable experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in hospitality, events, or hotels
  • Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills
  • A motivated, results-driven mindset
  • Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business and grow existing accounts
  • Build relationships with wedding planners, corporate clients, event professionals, and travel partners
  • Conduct site tours, sales presentations, and contract negotiations
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals for weddings, meetings, and events
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions
  • Partner with marketing and operations teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
