About The Position
Filoli is seeking an Event Producer to activate its estate with unforgettable experiences. This role will manage the entire lifecycle of ticketed events, ensuring they are financially sustainable, operationally seamless, and deeply engaging for guests. The Event Producer will be responsible for crafting immersive stories through events such as Nightfall (Halloween event), curated high teas, and Summer Stage performances, making Filoli a premier Bay Area destination.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing complex public events (e.g., attractions or music venues).
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Comfortable with tools like Monday.com and RACI models.
- Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to quickly learn new database systems.
- Physically active, able to be on feet, navigate terrain, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Act as the "product manager" for major revenue-generating events, partnering with leadership to develop new concepts and refine existing ones.
- Oversee event budgets, track ROI, and utilize data to ensure program success.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Guest Experience, and Operations teams to ensure flawless event execution and vendor management.
- Directly supervise a Public Event Specialist and lead seasonal staff during events, fostering a culture of "radical candor" and mutual respect.
- Integrate Filoli’s DEAI (Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion) goals into every event to ensure inclusivity.
