About The Position

As an Event Parking Flagger at Rip City Management, you will help provide a safe and welcoming experience by directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic across the Rose Quarter campus, parking lots, and garages. This role supports smooth traffic flow and guest safety during events and is part of a new in-house parking operations team. The position involves setting up equipment, communicating with a lead, assisting guests and staff with directions, managing lot capacity, reporting to supervisors, and supporting event load-in and load-out, including loading dock flagging. Candidates must be at least 18, communicate conversationally in English, work effectively with others, and be able to stay on their feet and move around the venue for several hours. Employment offers are conditional on successful completion of an individual background check.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to work a flexible, event-based schedule, including nights, weekends, and sometimes holidays.
Understand and communicate in conversational English, including following verbal and written directions.
Demonstrate effective, professional interpersonal and communication skills.
Be able to stay on your feet and move around the venue and Rose Quarter campus for several hours at a time.
Work as part of a team with people of different backgrounds and abilities.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of customer service experience.
At least one year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with setting up equipment in the assigned area.
Report to a lead and safely communicate vehicle traffic and pedestrian crossings.
Assist guests and staff with directions to garages and parking locations in a friendly, professional manner.
Direct vehicle traffic and pedestrians safely and efficiently.
Manage parking lot capacity and report to supervisors throughout events.
Handle event load-in and load-out, including loading dock flagging.
