Under direction of the Event Operations Manager, the Event Operations Supervisor will oversee the Cleaning and Building Services staff to ensure the optimum performance, cleanliness and operating standards as established by the Convention Center to ensure quality and consistency. The Event Operations Supervisor is a critical role in ensuring the success of events held at the San Diego Convention Center. This position partners with Event Managers to facilitate exceptional customer service and quality of ancillary resources in meeting client’s needs before, during, and at the close of onsite events. The Event Operations Supervisor coordinates and supervises cleaning and set-up crew activities for their assigned shift and ensures safe work practices are adhered to. The Event Operations Supervisor is a highly motivated, results-driven individual, who can effectively work independently or as part of a team in planning, problem solving and organization of work.
