About The Position

LexisNexis is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented B2B Event Marketing Specialist to support the planning, execution, and optimization of events and webinars that promote our market-leading legal technology and AI-driven research solutions. This role is ideal for an early-career marketing professional who is passionate about event marketing, thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment, and wants to gain hands-on experience in event management. You’ll play a key role in engaging clients and prospects through live and virtual experiences that strengthen LexisNexis’ reputation as the trusted leader in legal innovation.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of marketing experience (internships or prior event coordination roles preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with webinar platforms (e.g., ON24, Zoom Webinar, GoToWebinar) and CRM or marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot).
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Possess a growth mindset and looking to engage with colleagues on new ideas as we lead in the legal AI market.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of webinars, industry conferences, and sponsored events.
  • Coordinate logistics such as registration setup, speaker preparation, attendee communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Partner with the Sales, Product, and Consulting teams to ensure event goals align with business priorities.
  • Manage event timelines and ensure all deliverables are met on schedule.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that drive registration and engagement for events and webinars.
  • Work with the design and content teams to produce on-brand promotional materials (emails, social posts, landing pages, event assets).
  • Contribute to audience segmentation and targeted outreach to maximize attendance and lead quality.
  • Track event and webinar performance using Salesforce, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
  • Analyze attendee engagement, conversion rates, and pipeline impact to inform continuous improvement.
  • Maintain an updated event calendar and share performance insights with stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external communications to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and speakers to align expectations and deliver exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Collaborate across the marketing organization to leverage LexisNexis’ brand presence in digital and thought leadership channels.
