About The Position

Joyce is expanding into the Piedmont Triad, and we're looking for an Event Marketing Manager to help build our presence from the ground up. You'll play a key role in establishing our event marketing strategy, developing relationships throughout the community, leading a high-performing team, and driving lead generation in one of our newest markets. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role where you will actively engage homeowners, generate leads, and set appointments while managing event execution. You will also take ownership of venue relationships and proactively identify and secure new events to expand our presence.

Requirements

2-5+ years of event marketing, retail sales, canvassing, or lead-generation experience
Strong communication skills and confidence approaching new people
Willingness to travel throughout the Piedmont Triad market
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events require
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and build a market from the ground up.
Ability to lift and set up tents, tables, banners, and basic event equipment

Generate leads and set appointments with homeowners at events

Coach and motivate team members on-site to improve results

Manage relationships with event venues, coordinators, and partners
Take ownership of market growth by identifying new partnerships, improving event performance, and expanding Joyce's local presence
Support event setup and teardown as part of a hands-on team environment
Consistently meet or exceed lead generation and appointment targets
