About The Position

The Red Room at Cafe 939 Promotion/Marketing Assistant plays an important role in maximizing visibility and building audiences for events hosted there. Working as part of the venue's marketing team, student employees support the promotion of concerts and events through social media, digital content, graphic materials, grassroots promotion, artist communication, and other marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, deadline-driven live entertainment environment. The work produced by our student team represents The Red Room and Berklee to artists, managers, agents, event partners, and the public. Students in this role are expected to be reliable, communicative, organized, creative, and proactive.
