About The Position

Jobber is seeking an Event Manager to join their Marketing team. This role will be responsible for planning and executing large-scale, high-visibility Jobber-led events that aim to connect the brand with customers, partners, and the community. The position focuses on the entire event lifecycle, from strategy development to on-site execution. Jobber's mission is to empower small businesses, particularly in the home services sector, by providing technology solutions for quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payments. The Marketing team at Jobber is tasked with storytelling, increasing awareness, and driving demand, with the Events team playing a crucial role in bringing the brand to life through impactful experiences that yield measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Stamina, adaptability, and time-management skills to perform effectively while traveling frequently, including multi-day events and tight schedules.
  • Experience planning and executing high-visibility company-led events with significant budgets, (e.g. six to seven-figure programs) and attendance (e.g. thousands of attendees).
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product and Product Marketing teams.
  • A data-informed mindset, with experience measuring performance and iterating based on results.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or interest in event promotion and marketing campaigns (email, paid media, social, in-product, partnerships).
  • Experience working in SaaS or at a high-growth tech company.
  • Familiarity with event technology platforms, CRM integrations, and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience leading a user conference at a SaaS or high-growth tech company.
  • CMP certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the driver for flagship events, developing and owning detailed workback plans, timelines, budgets, and executional oversight across tech, experience, and logistics.
  • Translate business goals into event outcomes (e.g., net new lead acquisition and net revenue expansion) and ensure events meaningfully contribute to broader company objectives.
  • Oversee large-scale event logistics and production, including vendor management, venues, AV/tech platforms, customer support readiness, and on-site experience delivery.
  • Measure, report, and optimize event performance across attendance, engagement, and post-event outcomes; partner with Analytics and Marketing to assess impact against goals and use insights to improve programming and experience design.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders and senior leadership on progress, risks, and results, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the planning and execution lifecycle.
  • Support event promotion efforts as needed, with the opportunity to grow into ownership of registration and attendance campaigns over time.
  • Travel when required within Canada and the United States, for flagship events, site visits, trade shows, conferences, and keynote filming as needed.
