About The Position

Opus Agency is seeking an eager-to-learn, collaborative, and detail-oriented Event Management Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting corporate events. The internship introduces the end-to-end event planning process, from planning through on-site execution, and provides exposure to multiple events, workstreams, and roles. Interns may support logistics, project coordination, and facilities management while developing project management, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position is designed especially for recent college graduates beginning careers in event management. The position is temporary and full-time, running from January 11, 2027, through April 2, 2027. It follows a hybrid schedule: four remote days per week and at least one day per week in the Beaverton office, with additional office days possible based on business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Travel may be available depending on event needs, and interns may participate in on-site event execution. The starting salary is $22.00 per hour. Temporary employees are eligible for overtime when their schedules exceed 40 hours per week. The role may have potential for conversion to a permanent full-time position at the end of the internship, but permanent positions are not guaranteed. Opus Agency offers growth and development opportunities, exposure to a collaborative and inclusive team, and flexibility in work schedules.
