About The Position

Opus Agency is seeking an eager-to-learn, collaborative, and detail-oriented Event Management Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of corporate events. The internship introduces the end-to-end event planning process and offers opportunities to build organizational, analytical, and creative skills while working across multiple events, workstreams, and team environments. Interns will learn the event lifecycle from planning through on-site execution and gain exposure to logistics, project coordination, and facilities management, as well as agency tools, processes, and best practices. The role is designed particularly for recent college graduates seeking to begin a career in event management. The position is based in Beaverton, Oregon, on a hybrid schedule: four days per week remote and at least one day per week in the office, with additional in-office days possible based on business needs. Standard hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Travel may be available based on event needs, and the intern may participate in on-site event execution. The temporary program runs from January 11, 2027, through April 2, 2027. The starting rate is $22.00 per hour. Temporary employees are eligible for overtime when their schedule exceeds 40 hours per week. The role may have potential for conversion to a permanent full-time position, but permanent employment is not guaranteed.
