About The Position
Visit.org is seeking a Freelance In-Person Event Host in Wilmington, DE, to facilitate interactive social impact experiences for corporate partners. This contract role is ideal for individuals with stage presence and a desire to positively impact local communities. The successful candidate will be based in Wilmington, DE, possess corporate event experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for Visit.org's mission, and the energy to thrive in a start-up tech environment.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Based in Wilmington, DE
- Availability to work on a contract per event basis
- Comfortable interacting with groups of people as well as one on one
- Ability to keep events flowing and participants engaged
- Easy conversationalist with lots of energy, charismatic personality, and a sense of fun
- Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics
- High energy and a positive attitude
- Quick thinker capable of on-the-fly problem-solving
- Extremely comfortable with and enjoys public speaking
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Background in acting, comedy, improv, or similar profession that requires engaging and interacting with an audience.
