About The Position

Hosts are key to our guest experience, acting as an ambassador for our client's brand. We consider them the front line! Essential part of the programme ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service for our guests. Our guests will vary, but will include VIPs and high profile guests. We expect our host team to be calm under pressure and not fazed by anything or anyone! Each hospitality programme is different, and the host team may be stationed in a variety of posts to ensure a smooth guest experience - you could be opening car doors and escorting guests into the building, welcoming them on arrival, answering guest services queries, ensuring the space is well presented. It's unlikely two days will be the same!

Requirements

  • Fluent English with excellent verbal communication skills; confident engaging with individuals and groups in a variety of settings
  • Calm, composed, and focused under pressure — able to think on your feet and resolve issues without fuss
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • A natural people person — warm, outgoing, and genuinely passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Comfortable working long hours in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining energy and professionalism throughout
  • Proficient with smartphones and tablets; comfortable using digital tools on the go
  • A collaborative team player who is flexible, proactive, and always willing to get stuck in

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all guests, delivering a warm, professional welcome from arrival through departure
  • Escort and guide guests throughout their journey, ensuring they are in the right place at the right time
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs proactively, resolving any issues quickly and calmly
  • Maintain a visible, engaged presence across all assigned posts — whether that's managing arrivals, answering queries, or keeping spaces well presented
  • Coordinate guest group movements to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience at every stage
  • Uphold the client's brand standards at all times, acting as a knowledgeable and approachable ambassador
