About The Position
RezEvents and Leaderboard Games are hiring in-person Game Night Event Hosts/Emcees to lead Trivia or BINGO events at food and beverage venues in the Rancho Mirage, California region. The role involves hosting live game nights for groups, entertaining guests, and helping build a community of players. Events are held at restaurants, breweries, or bars and typically last about 2–2.5 hours. Events occur weekly, most commonly on weekday evenings. Substitute host positions are also available on call. Training is provided for the game application.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Have a reliable laptop computer with an HDMI connection port or adapter for video and Bluetooth for audio.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with audio and video equipment is preferred.
- Experience in live production and performance is suited to the role.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Trivia or BINGO web application to manage gameplay; training is provided.
- Connect a laptop computer to the venue’s audio/video equipment for in-person game nights.
- Make announcements over the public-address system to welcome players and run the game.
- Conduct the game while entertaining guests.
- Provide post-event wrap-up to the RezEvents home base.
- Represent the RezEvents team as an ambassador.
