Event Emcee - Game Night Host - Rancho Mirage, CA Region
About The Position
RezEvents and Leaderboard Games is hiring in-person Game Night Event Hosts/Emcees to lead Trivia or BINGO events at food and beverage venues in the Rancho Mirage, California region. Hosts entertain groups, help build a community of players, and represent the RezEvents team. The role is suited to people with live production or performance experience, including event hosts, actors, comedians, and personable performers. Training is provided for the game application. Events are held weekly, most commonly on weekday evenings, and typically last approximately 2–2.5 hours. Substitute host positions are also available on an on-call basis. The position is a contract role paying $75 per event, with supplemental pay varying by location.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a reliable laptop computer with an HDMI connection port or video adapter and Bluetooth for audio.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with audio and video equipment is preferred.
- Experience in live production or performance is well suited to the role.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Trivia or BINGO web application to manage gameplay; training is provided.
- Connect a laptop computer to the venue’s audio/video equipment for in-person game nights.
- Make announcements over the PA system to welcome players and run the game.
- Conduct the game while entertaining guests.
- Provide a post-event wrap-up to the RezEvents home base.
- Represent the RezEvents team as an ambassador.
