Event Director

Securitize
Remote

About The Position

Securitize is seeking a Director of Events to own the full spectrum of our event strategy — from flagship owned conferences to executive roundtables, investor summits, and our presence at the industry's most important third-party stages. This is a builder role: you will establish the event function as a strategic growth channel for Securitize, directly supporting institutional sales, issuer origination, and brand positioning at the intersection of traditional finance and tokenized real-world assets. The ideal candidate has done this before — not just managed logistics, but conceived, owned, and produced a company's signature event from the ground up. You know what it takes to build an event brand that the market looks forward to, and you have the operational rigor to execute without missing a detail.

Requirements

  • You've built an event brand, not just executed someone else's. You've conceived and produced a company's owned flagship from the ground up, and you can point to the event the market came to expect.
  • You understand the audience and the stakes. You've worked deep in financial services, fintech, capital markets, or institutional investment, and you know how allocators and asset managers think.
  • You connect events to outcomes. You can build the business case, manage six-figure budgets, and tie activity to measurable pipeline.
  • You're a player-coach. You operate strategically with senior leadership and you're still in the details, because at this level the details are the strategy.
  • 8+ years in event management, with 3+ at a senior or director level
  • A track record across both ends of the spectrum: 500+ attendee flagships and intimate C-suite roundtables
  • Outstanding relationship skills, recruiting and retaining senior speakers, sponsors, and high-profile attendees
  • A highly organized, detail-obsessed operating style that runs multiple programs at once without dropping a thread

Nice To Haves

  • Experience producing events at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, blockchain, or RWA tokenization
  • Existing relationships in institutional finance communities: prime brokerage, asset management, family offices, wealth management
  • Experience with hybrid and virtual formats alongside in-person programming
  • Familiarity with event tech (Cvent, Splash, Hopin, or similar) and CRM/marketing-automation integration

Responsibilities

  • Owned events & flagship programming. Design, build, and produce Securitize's owned portfolio: an annual flagship conference, investor summits, and executive roundtables aimed at institutional allocators, asset managers, and issuers. You'll own the full lifecycle, from concept and positioning through venue, speaker acquisition, agenda, attendee experience, on-site execution, and follow-through. You'll develop a distinct event brand that reinforces Securitize as the leading infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets, and build the relationships with high-profile speakers and moderators across finance, digital assets, and regulatory circles that make it credible.
  • Third-party & industry stages. Own Securitize's presence at the events that matter: Consensus, DC Fintech Week, Milken, Davos-adjacent gatherings, IMN, SFNet, and others across institutional finance and RWA. You'll set sponsorship strategy and allocate budget against real ROI, weighing tier-1 keynotes against panels, hosted dinners, and exhibit presence. You'll also prep executives, align messaging, and drive follow-up for every speaking engagement.
  • Pipeline & revenue alignment. This is where events earn their seat. Partner with Capital Markets, Institutional Sales, and Marketing to tie every program to pipeline, issuer origination, and investor AUM growth. You'll design invitation and acquisition strategies that put the right people in the room, including qualified institutional investors, asset managers, family offices, and prospective issuers. You'll build the pre- and post-event workflows with CRM and sales ops that turn a handshake into a tracked opportunity.
  • Operations & team. Own the events budget with full P&L accountability, and negotiate vendors, venues, and production partners. Build and manage a small internal team and agency relationships to scale as the calendar grows, and establish the playbooks and post-mortems that keep raising the bar.
